The LG / Cuno 5231JA2006B filter cartridge replacement is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of:

• Turn the used filter counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull the filter straight out (The water shuts off automatically so you don’t have to worry about flooding your refrigerator)
• Push the filter straight into the fridge until it stops
• Turn the filter clockwise 1/4 turn
• If your refrigerator has a “Change Filter“ light, reset it

• Press and hold the “Reset” button for 3 seconds
