How do I know which Rainbow spa filter I need?

Check your cartridge for a part number, or note the model of your Rainbow filter, such as a Dynamic series. Search it in the AllFilters cross-reference chart to find a SpiroPure Rainbow-compatible cartridge. Still unsure? Measure its diameter and length and use the filter finder, but keep in mind that regular use can cause filter cartridges to compress, shortening the overall length by 1/4" or so.
Plan on 3–12 months for spa filters or 12–24 months for pool filters with proper use, depending on usage, water quality and cleaning habits. Look the cartridge over each time you clean it. Torn media, cracked end caps, a damaged core or weak flow after cleaning mean it is time to move on and drop in a new filter.
Turn off power and remove the cartridge. Rinse between the pleats with a garden hose, working from top to bottom, and soak it in an approved cartridge cleaner or gentle kitchen detergent when needed. Rinse again before reinstalling. Pressure washers can damage the media, so skip them.
Common sizes include 4 15/16" x 6 5/8", 4 15/16" x 13 5/16" and 4 15/16" x 26 11/16", used in Rainbow Dynamic filters such as Dynamic 50 and Series II and III. Capacities vary, so confirm by part number or model first.
Yes. A cartridge listed for your Rainbow part number or filter model, with matching dimensions and connections, can take the original's place. SpiroPure Rainbow-compatible filters use pleated polyester media and a polypropylene core, and they are priced below the original brand.
