Waterway filters are designed for user-friendly maintenance and installation. Most systems feature tool-free access to the filter cartridge. Simply turn off the pump, relieve pressure, and remove the filter housing lid. The cartridge lifts out easily for cleaning or replacement. Rinse cartridges every few weeks with a garden hose, never a pressure washer. Deep clean may be completed using filter degreaser or kitchen detergent. Just be sure to rinse thoroughly and be aware that deep cleaning can break down polyester media. Once wear or tear appears, replacement is easy and more affordable with SpiroPure filters.
