I have the RPFWE filter with the electronic chip. Is there a way I can trick my refrigerator into using an RPWF compatible model without a chip?
There are a few "hacks" online that can allow you to use a chip from a bypass model of the RPWFE to make your fridge think a filter is not in place, while using a RWPF compatible model filter to still get filtered water. We have found two videos that can assist you in learning about this hack.
