Installation is simple and requires no special tools for most setups. Start by shutting off the water supply to your refrigerator. Locate the existing water line behind or beneath the fridge, typically white or clear 1/4" or 3/8" tubing. Cut the line at a convenient point, leaving enough slack to connect both ends of the inline filter. For Quick Connect fittings, push the tubing firmly into each port until it seats. For FNPT fittings, use a small wrench and thread-seal tape to secure the connection. Restore the water supply and run several cups of water through the dispenser to flush the new filter before use.
