The SpiroPure SP-WP300 is a replacement refrigerator water filter for the Gold Series GS-W5 filter cartridge. A refrigerator water filter compatible replacement that is used in side-by-side refrigerators by Kenmore.

Specifications

Filter Life: 6 months or 200 gallons (whichever comes first)
Flow Rate: 0.5 gallons per minute

The compatible filter cartridge for Kenmore 469030 is tested and certified to NSF 42 to heighten water quality by reducing chlorine, taste, and odor, and NSF 372 for lead-free material.

Water filter

The filters are perfect. When I first ordered them, I thought it was a scam because of the price. I felt like the price was too good to be true. Then the shipping took longer than expected. I reached out to customer service support and they explained that it was a delay in shipping but provided me with the expectation on when to receive it. They came in the mail almost a week later. They are the right ones and my water and ice both taste great. I definitely will order again but ahead of time before I need the water filter to give it time to get to me.

Great, cheap filter

I too was nervous buying this because the price seemed too low to be true. But I had little specks of black carbon in my ice. This is working fine and I no longer have the black specks of carbon in my ice.
