AquaClear's AC500 is a quality, compatible filter for the Whirlpool 4396510 filter. Unlike other compatible filters, the Aqua Clear filter is tested and certified by IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials) to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements, so you can be assured of its quality. Independent laboratory testing is conducted regularly and the AquaClear filter is proven to perform just as well or better than the OEM filter. We would highly recommend this alternative filter.
