The SGF-W80 has been discontinued and replaced with AWF-4396508. AWF-4396508 is compatible with any refrigerator that uses SGF-W80, is made in the USA, and is WQA certified!

The Swift Green SGF-W80 is a quality, compatible filter for the Whirlpool 4396508. The SGFW80 fits any refrigerator that currently uses the Whirlpool 4396508.

Filter Replacement Instructions
  • Turn the used filter counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull the filter straight out (The water shuts off automatically so you don’t have to worry about flooding your refrigerator)
  • Remove the reusable color-keyed knob from the end
  • Slide the knob onto the end of the new filter
  • Push the filter straight into the fridge and turn it clockwise 1/4 turn
  • If your refrigerator has a “Change Filter“ light, reset it
How to Reset the “Change Filter“ Light
  • Press the light switch (the one that the refrigerator door presses every time you close the door) 5 times within 10 seconds
  • OR If the refrigerator has a filter button, press and hold it for 5-10 seconds
